Thanks to everyone who came out last night. Our normal meeting room was double booked so we were in a smaller meeting room. It worked out great and actually made the meeting feel more casual. CPFUG Book Library
We now have a book library where you can check out books for free. Any book can be checked out for 2 weeks at a time. These are provided from our sponsors. They are currently being stored at JPL and you can pick them up once you are notified that it is ready for you. You can also suggest a book to be added and I’ll try to get it. If you have any older books that you would like to donate to the library, please let me know. An example would be if you have a Flash 8 book that you no longer need, there’s a possibility that someone else who is still using Flash 8 would be interested.
Like always, if you would like to own a book (outside of our giveaways), our sponsors will send a book in return of a short review.
FlashEff Component
A lot of people showed great interest in FlashEff, a component for Flash that allows you to create some outstanding visual effects without any code or keyframes. Mary Ann won one copy and we still have one more license to give out. Stay tuned for more info on how to win the other license ($280 value).
